Day 7 12th Sept 2009
Work
Today marks the second time of our attachment. Actually it was off day for the company also, but in order to follow our schedule, as given by our SP lecturer, they have to come back on sat and sun to conduct make up lesson for us.
Today lesson was on electronics of the aircraft about COMMUNICATION. The china lecturer was different and this lecturer is much better than the previous one. At least he cared to stop and make sure we understood what he was teaching. Unlike the previous one, who was so fast and kept on assuming we already knew. So we were introduced to different types of communication in an aircraft. Such as Very High Frequency (VHF), High Frequency (HF), satellite and black box.
Lecture starts at 9.30am to 3.30pm, with a two hour lunch break in between. All of us had our lunch in the company canteen.. but Edward found something gross in the veggie that made all of us stop eating. I was enjoying that veggie de. It is some kind of pea. Edward found this super big fat worm inside the veggie. It was super yucky! Then the other guys start talking crap… hahas.. saying that the veggie must be very healthy. This is my second encounter with worm in china veggie! One is in Singapore’s china steamboat shop.. now here.. it is a bit er….. hahas.
Managed to talk with the lecturer. I found out that china working time is quite relaxing.. unlike SG. They start work at 9am and ends at 4pm. If it is SG aerospace engineers.. I think the hours are longer. But he told me they also got work OT. And for normal shops and shopping centers in China close at 8pm. In SG, I was find the closing time rather early le, here even earlier. =S
